Please find below details of our French Alps Location.
Our Alpine base is set in the beautiful Valley of the river Biasse. It's a site almost purpose built for kayakers, climbers, mountain bikers and walkers. We have secured a very large area with options on more space if we need it. If clients feel they need other accommodation then there are Hotels and Gites in the Valley.
- The site is in a fantastic scenic alpine valley with a riverside location.
- Improved central location to reach all the great rivers in the area.
- 10 mins by road to the l'argentiere slalom course and shops.
- Very quiet, shady (very warm in the day) and very secure.
- Relaxed atmosphere - lots of space - great for families.
- Lake on site for kayak training - large warm swimming lake 10mins away.
- WiFi and good mobile phone connection.
- Great walking, biking, plus some fantastic Via Ferratas and climbing.
- Campsite shop
- Excellent hot shower and washing facilities.
- Hotel, restaurants and bar within walking distance.

- Set just off the main Durance Valley - 10 mins to main valley road.
- Autoroute at Grenoble 2 hrs away.
- Turin City and airport 2-15 hrs - Nice 4-5 hrs - Marseille 3.30 hrs.
- Main Paris SNCF (train) 10 minutes away.
- Doctor's clinic in l'Argentiere la Bessee - Hospital 20km in Briancon.
Some of the other activities that can be sampled in the area include via ferrata climbing, fly-fishing, mountaineering, mountain biking, canyoning, telepheriqies (cable car), horse riding, walking, swimming and sailing.

Set in the beautiful river Biasse Valley. Great central location for kayaking. Mountains all round offering climbing, bike and walking trails. Close by the village of Freissinieres and Pallon for restaurants/bars. Bread ordered from local Boulangerie. Very safe and secluded parking.

Electricity 3.00 Euro per day per socket
Tourist tax (00.20 cents Euro) per person per day is included in the camp fees
No price hike through the season same price during June/July/August

The Mountain Hotel Les5Saisons is in a fantastic Mountain setting only 2 Kilometers from our Alpine location. It offers Hotel/Apartment and Gite accommodation. Full board is offered plus a dinner menu for residents and non-residents alike.

The Gite "Les Carlines" is situated at an altitude of 1100m and is south facing looking down the valley of the Gyronde river. From the warm sunny terrace, you can also enjoy 360 degree views of the the old village of Les Vigneaux and the surrounding mountains,
During your stay you will not only have great river days, but you will also enjoy the tastes and pleasures of traditional family cooking. After your meal relax with wine on a fantastic terrace.
The nearby village of Les Vigneaux is at the gates of the beautiful Ecrins national park.
