The South West of England
This fantastic white-water area has been for many years, one of the most popular destination for UK kayakers. Dartmoor and Exemoor both give rise to many fantastic steep white water rivers. Some paddlers may be looking for a fun mellow first paddling experience or seasoned boaters will be looking to paddle some of the Classics like the Legendary Upper Dart, the gorge like Erm or try their hand on the Rock Slides of the East Okement and much more.
About us.
Our professional product has been proven on many of the worlds great paddling Rivers. In the French Alps, Morocco, India Nepal or N. America. But our fundamental skills were developed over twenty years ago on the rivers of the South West of England.
What do we offer?
A guiding service, for clubs, schools, groups or individuals. We offer one or more days guiding on all the rivers of the South West. Trips are based on a minimum of 3 persons attending. On class 2-3 the ratio is four clients to one Guide. On class 3-4 the ratio is three clients to one guide.
When and Where?
We are in the South West of England during the white water season from October to Mid March. Please contact us to discuss your requirements, we will then meet you at a suitable venue.
Other Locations
As well as the Uk we offer this service in Provence/Verdon French Alps. Also offered are multi day raft supported trips to the rivers of Morocco, India and Nepal.

One day River guiding
-Dates are by arrangement
-This is a river running day. To start we begin on a short easy section of river to warm up on. Then we set off to a river that is relative to the groups ability.

-Grade 2-3 max of four Grade 3-4 max of three
-Lower group ratios improves safety
-On steep continues grade 3-4 we always run with a safety boater
-Cost per person £ 80.00 (min two person)
-Cost group rate £235.00 (max three persons)
One day Free-style clinic
-Dates are by arrangement
These are run on specific sites, which enables us to improve your technique. This then enhances skill making paddling more effect and efficient. A day spent play-boating under our tuition will also enhance your paddling ability.

Reserve your place by paying a deposit below and then return your completed booking form as an email attachment to 'stuart [at] canoecontrol.com'. If you prefer to make your payment by cheque or bank transfer then please refer to the instructions in the booking form. If you need to discuss any special arrangements or large group bookings then please do not hesitate to contact us using the option on the main menu.

Please print out the form and sign it before scanning it and returning it by email. If you do not have access to a scanner then please use the MS Word version and return a completed copy by email together with a signed copy by post.
