Jon Davies
Born and bred around whitewater, he has been pushing his limits on the rivers ever since. His natural habitat is steep creeks and rivers but he can also be spotted at freestyle events across the world. Lately Jon has been involved with a North Wales water rescue team. So if you manage to spot him, go over and say hi (ideally bearing tea and cake). Jon joins the Canoe Control team, coming highly recommended by many leading professionals. He is young and full of enthusiasm to give of his skills to others. One of his many credentials is he knows the rivers of the Southern French Alps extremely well. Jon's main roll will be as a safety boater. Canoe Control has always had a policy of excellent self-reliant boaters at the rear of the group. Our safety record is 100%. Its having highly skilled kayakers like Jon that has ensured that we maintain that record.
