French Alps Kayaking: Canoe Control is the UK's Premier and longest established White Water Guiding School in the French Alps. For over 20 years we have been at the fore front of and set the highest standards, for white water Guiding & Coaching. Canoe Control is also a specialist white water adventure company, traveling to many exotic world wide paddling destinations. For 25 years we have been exploring the rivers of the world, an experience which forms the foundation of our world class Coaching and Guiding in some of the most beautiful locations on the planet. From a first paddling experience on Dartmoor or in the South of France from a technical steep creek course or a 'full-on' Himalayan expedition we offer progressive, modern dynamic coaching and guiding with the aim of developing your awareness of the relationship between you, your boat and the environment. Learning to recognize personal ability relative, to what you want to paddle is vital to your enjoyment learning and safety.

As an adventure sport company we have extensive experience in the locations in which we operate and have permanent bases in the UK and the French Alps.

Our French Alpine Campsite...

Our move in the 2010 summer season to our new base and our very Alpine Campsite, has been a great success. Its has a great central location, giving great access to the areas fantastic kayaking rivers. Also close by there is quality rock climbing, biking, horse and walking.
